Scenic bases - be creative!
Base is a very important element of each model. Well-made one can beautify our model or - if needed - draw viewer's attention away from a failed painting. Poorly constructed base can completely ruin the effect of even best work. I still learn how to make more interesting bases for my figures and try to be as creative as possible, especially when searching for new materials for their execution. These materials can be found anywhere around us! Just take a good look around you when going for a walk or sitting in the garden and drinking cold beer.
Wykonanie podstawki pod figurkę to bardzo ważny element. Dobrze wykonana podstawka może upiększyć nasz model i ewentualnie odwrócić wzrok od nieudanego malowania. Źle wykonana podstawka może całkowicie zepsuć efekt nawet najlepszej pracy. Ciągle uczę się robić ciekawsze podstawki pod moje figurki i staram się być kreatywny, przede wszystkim wyszukując nowe materiały do ich wykonywania. A te są dosłownie wszędzie! Wystarczy dobrze się rozglądać idąc na spacer albo siedząc w ogrodzie popijając zimne piwo.

STONES
All kinds of stones, and the best pieces of larger stones, plates, ideal for rocky ground under the statue. Some are soft, so that you can manually drill a small hole in them, others are hard and hard to manipulate (eg, crush them into smaller parts). One thing is certain, they can be found everywhere and cost nothing.

Wszelkiego rodzaju kamienie, a najlepiej odłamki większych głazów, płyt, idealnie nadają się na kamieniste podłoże pod figurkę. Niektóre są miękkie, tak że można ręcznie wywiercić w nich mały otwór, inne są twarde i ciężko je obrabiać (np. skruszyć je na mniejsze części). Jedno jest pewne, wszędzie jest ich pełno i są za darmo.
BARK
The bark of the trees after proper painting perfectly mimics the rock and is easy to handle.

Kora z drzew po odpowiednim pomalowaniu idealnie imituje skały i jest prosta w obróbce.
STATIC GRASS
Any kind of modeling sprinkle and static grass are a regular part of most carriers. They are available in different colors and sizes. We can get "plant" fresh grass, or have dried up and tor sun-burnt lawn. These type of products can be offered by a lot of companies, also those related to train modeling.

TRAWA ELEKTROSTYATYCZNA
Wszelkiego rodzaju posypki modelarskie i trawki elektrostyatyczne są stałym elementem większości podstawek. Są dostępne w różnych kolorach i wielkościach. Możemy "zasadzić" świeżą trawę, lub mieć wyschnięte i zżółknięty od słońca trawnik. Tego typu produkty ma w swojej ofercie wiele firm również związanych np. z modelarstwem kolejkowym.

Samoprzylepne kępki trawy. Dostępne w wielu kolorach i wymiarach. Wspaniale wzbogacają podstawki.
SAND
I use sand, which contains some smaller and larger pebbles. Stick it to the base with PVA glue, then paint.
PIASEK
Używam nieprzesianego piasku, który zawiera mniejsze i większe kamyczki. Przyklejam go do podstawki za pomocą kleju typu wikol, a następnie maluję.
SPECIAL MIXES
You can buy ready-made mixtures of sand with stones and various natural elements. This is an option for the lazy :)

MODELING COMPOUNDS
Ready-made modeling compounds of various textures are an ideal solution for creating bases. They dry quickly and are easy to apply.
