To zdecydowanie ułatwi jego transport. Z najgłębszych czeluści warsztatu wydobyłem więc wiertarkę udarową. Nie posiadam małej precyzyjnej wiertarki bowiem używam tego typu narzędzi niezmiernie rzadko. Zwykła wiertarka z regulacją szybkości obrotów jest moim zdaniem wystarczająca.

Po sklejeniu poszczególnych części modelu, i wypełnieniu wszelkich szpar szpachlą modelarską, rozpocząłem montaż magnesów. Jako pierwsze poszły do obróbki skrzydła. Wywierciłem w tułowiu smoka otwory 5mm pod magnesy.

Mogłem już wkleić magnesy używając kleju typu "Super Glue". W tułowiu zastosowałem magnes o średnicy 5mm i grubości 2mm (5x2). W skrzydłach zastosowałem magnesy o średnicy 5mm i grubości 1mm (5x1). Dobra rada: zawsze sprawdźcie prawidłową biegunowość magnesów zanim je przykleicie, tak żeby się nie odpychały!

Jako, że model ten jest bardzo wysoki, co dla mnie osobiście jest głównym problemem w transporcie, postanowiłem, że szyja wraz z głową również będzie mocowana na magnesach. Zastosowałem magnesy 5mm średnicy 2mm grubości (5x2).

Na końcu przygotowałem podstawkę. Nie lubię wielkich fajerwerków w modelach przeznaczonych do gry - minimalizm z wyróżniającymi się szczegółami - to jest to co lubię. Wykorzystałem gotową masę gipsowo akrylową by nadać powierzchni podstawki nierównomierną strukturę.
