Doom
After many years of painting mostly miniatures Games Workshop in 32mm scale, it is time to try something completely different. The choice fell on the model of "Doom" by Pegaso Models. Painting the figures it was for me a challenge:
- the first time I painted figure in 70mm scale,
- the first time I made a snow base,
- the first time I painted a black skin,
- the first time I did the true effect of blood on the weapon,
- the first time I've done a plinth in such a large figure.
Despite all these "problems", painting the model was a pleasure.

To feel the atmosphere of this model, we first watch a scene from the movie "Conan the Barbarian". After his village is massacred, young Conan loses his mother at the sword of Thulsa Doom (James Earl Jones).
