Minipainting Sketchpad is a set of small resin castings, intended to be used as practice pieces for miniature painters. Whether you are a beginner who needs to work on paint consistency, blending or freehand skills; intermediate painter who wants to practice new techniques or use of lights and shadows; or master artist who just wants to sketch something in-between big projects or check out some ideas - our mini tiles will give you something to scribble on. Just like a real-life sketchpad that you keep at hand ;)This is also comfortable solution for anyone performing painting demonstration or teaching workshops - to quickly showcase a subject or technique, or having one's students practice a subject, but without having to use the proper miniature to do so.

Otrzymałem od Matiego z Paints of War kilka modeli do obejrzenia, oceniani i późniejszego przetestowania w użyciu z pędzlem :) Poniżej widzicie modle: Ikka_01 Ikka_02 Cassi_01 Cassi_05 Cassi_03 Siya_03 Siya_05.
All models are made in two sizes corresponding to a 1/9 scale bust and a 75mm scale figure. Very good idea.
Wszystkie modele wykonane są w dwóch rozmiarach odpowiadających popiersiu w skali 1/9 oraz figurce w skali 75mm. Bardzo dobry pomysł.

Below are more photos taken on the background of my hand to show scale. As you can see, the quality of the resin casting is very good. I did not find any holes or other defects on my copies. I hope that this quality of the product will also be maintained at a later stage of the project.
Poniżej więcej zdjęć wykonanych na tle mojej dłoni dla pokazania skali. Jak widzicie jakość odlewu z żywicy jest bardzo dobrej jakości. Na posiadanych egzemplarzach, nie znalazłem żadnych dziurek, nadlewek czy też innych defektów. Mam nadzieję, że taka jakość produktu zostanie zachowana również w późniejszym etapie projektu.
To sum up, Minipainting Sketchpad Volume 1 is, in my opinion, a great product if you want to practice learning face painting. You probably know that for most of us this is a difficult element of models. Personally, it took me a lot of time to master this element, and often anyway I'm not satisfied with what I create :) Additionally, this whole idea gives many possibilities for the future. Imagine the faces of Vikings or knights wearing helmets, etc. Additionally, you can place these faces in a frame and create a very cool 3D image. I highly recommend it!
Podsumowując, Minipainting Sketchpad Volume 1 to moim zdaniem świetny produkt jeśli chcecie przećwiczyć naukę malowania twarzy. Zapewne wiecie, że dla większosći z nas jest to trudny element modeli. Mi osobiście zajęło opanowanie tego elementu sporo czasu, a i tak często nie jestem zadowolony z tego co tworzę :) Dodatkowo cały ten pomysł daje wiele możliwości na przyszłość. Wyobraźcie sobie twarze wikingów albo rycerzy w chełmie na głowie itd... Dodatkowo można te twarze umiścić w ramce i stworzyć bardzo fajny obraz 3D. Serdecznie polecam!
